Diaz Reus & Targ Managing Partner Michael Diaz Jr. was named one of the “Top Latinos in Miami in 2011” by the Fundacion Fusionarte of Spain, a group focused on minorities in Europe, Latin America and the U.S.

The award recognizes individuals from a variety of backgrounds who contribute the region’s economic, social and cultural development. In 2011, the organization selected former Florida International University President Modesto “Mitch” Maidique, singer Gloria Estefan and painter Romerto Britto for their contributions.

The law firm represents business from around the world with a focus on Latin America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East is such areas as government relations, trade, customs tax and immigration. Diaz focuses his practice on multinational companies, financial institutions and foreign government in arbitration, litigation, regulatory issues and white collar crime.
