Albania’s trade with the United States rose to $74,119,011 through the first 12 months of 2011, according to a WorldCity analysis of latest U.S. Census Bureau data. That’s -4.06 percent below its total trade during the same time period last year. Albania’s exports increased 2.11 percent while imports dropped -13.47 percent. The U.S. surplus with Albania was $21,142,515.
Through December, Albania’s top U.S. Customs districts for total imports and exports were No. 1 New York City, No. 2 Baltimore, No. 3 Atlanta/Savannah, No. 4 Houston and No. 5 Chicago compared to last year when the top spots were held by No. 1 Baltimore, No. 2 New York City, No. 3 Atlanta/Savannah, No. 4 Jacksonville/Tampa and No. 5 Houston.
