Fiji’s trade with the United States rose to $64,801,332 through the first three months of 2013, according to a WorldCity analysis of latest U.S. Census Bureau data. That’s 34.57 percent above its total trade during the same time period last year. Fiji’s exports increased 96.97 percent while imports rose 21.31 percent. The U.S. deficit with Fiji was $0.
Through March, Fiji’s top U.S. Customs districts for total imports and exports were No. 1 Los Angeles, No. 2 Philadelphia, No. 3 Atlanta/Savannah, No. 4 Low Value Shipments and No. 5 San Francisco compared to last year when the top spots were held by No. 1 Los Angeles, No. 2 San Juan, No. 3 Atlanta/Savannah, No. 4 Philadelphia and No. 5 San Francisco. In the current time period, the top five accounted for 14.35 percent of Fiji’s U.S. trade..
