Kuwait’s trade with the United States rose to $3,659,521,535 through the first three months of 2013, according to a WorldCity analysis of latest U.S. Census Bureau data. That’s -7.48 percent below its total trade during the same time period last year. Kuwait’s exports decreased -0.97 percent while imports dropped -8.75 percent. The U.S. deficit with Kuwait was $0.
Through March, Kuwait’s top U.S. Customs districts for total imports and exports were No. 1 New Orleans, No. 2 Houston, No. 3 Port Arthur, Texas, No. 4 Jacksonville/Tampa and No. 5 New York City compared to last year when the top spots were held by No. 1 New Orleans, No. 2 Houston, No. 3 New York City, No. 4 Jacksonville/Tampa and No. 5 Mobile. In the current time period, the top five accounted for 13.12 percent of Kuwait’s U.S. trade..
