President's Note

by Ken Roberts

Many elements go into a successful company. The most important of them is people people who care, people who push themselves rather than wait to be pushed, people who not only see the mission but seize it. WORLDCITY lost one of those great people in March. Photographer Peter Tritley, whose work made our pages far livelier and more professional, died from complications related to the cancer he had fought with both courage and unflagging optimism. He was, of course, more than a photographer. He was also a husband, a son, a friend. At WORLDCITY, he was the smiling guy who accommodated our crazy deadlines, who translated his fine eye into exceptional DHL Connections photos and whose work graced several of our magazine covers. Our readers lost an outstanding photographer. At WORLDCITY, we lost an exceptional friend.
