The Cisneros Group of Companies named Yolanda Talamo as chief human resources officer, based at its Miami headquarters.
She will be responsible for designing and developing HR strategies and corporate strategies for the media and entertainment group worldwide.
“This appointment is part of a transformation process to strengthen our position at the forefront of the industry; recruiting and developing the talented personnel and implementing innovative strategies consistent with the market’s ever-changing dynamics are fundamental aspects of this objective,” Miguel Dvorak, the group’s president and chief operating officer, said in a statement.
Before joining the Cisneros Group, Talamo spent 18 years with Procter & Gamble. She started with P&G in Caracas, Venezuela, before moving to their headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2004. She has been North America/U.S. Operations & Marketing Functional Human Resources Leader since 2007.
Talamo holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Andres Bello Catholic University in Caracas, Venezuela.
