Javier Semerene

Orange Vice President

Orange Business Services, a division of the France Telcom, has appointed Javier Semerene as vice president, sales and marketing for Latin America.

Semerene joins the global communications provider from AT&T, where he held several management positions, such as regional vice president for the Middle East and Africa, and regional vice president of sales for Latin America. He has also held executive positions in Latin America for companies such as Xerox, Cascade Systems and Digital Data Publishing.

Orange Business Services has a presence in more than 31 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean and sales offices in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela.

“It’s an exciting time to be joining Orange Business Services,” Semerene said. “I look forward to leveraging my experience in the Latin American telecom and IT sector to support our growing business in the region and continue to provide our customers with leading-edge telecommunications solutions in this competitive market.”

Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, Semerene is based in Miami.
