Miami-based international law firm Diaz Reus & Targ has moved and expanded its office in the United Arab Emirates to the prestigious Dubai International Financial Centre.
Arti Sangar is the partner in charge of the new Dubai office, which handles mainly business, trade, government relations and investment matters. The firm’s managing partner Michael Diaz Jr. and partner Carlos Gonzalez, who is fluent in Arabic, also work from the office as needed.
The Dubai International Financial Centre focuses on banking services, capital markets, reinsurance and other business services. One of its units is NASDAQ Dubai, formerly the Dubai International Financial Exchange, the law firm said in a statement.
In addition to Dubai, Diaz Reus operates offices in Miami and Orlando, Florida; Shanghai, China; Mexico City, Mexico; Frankfurt, Germany; Caracas, Venezuela; Bogota, Colombia: and Buenos Aires, Argentina. It also has an affiliate office in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
