Isis Venture Partners, through its Miami-based subsidiary Latin Trade Group, has acquired a majority stake in Buenos Aires-based risk consultants Datarisk.
The company, founded in 1995, works with financial, procurement and compliance department to implement due diligence software to monitor companies’ vendors, suppliers and partners. It maintains offices in New York, Miami, Buenos Aires, São Paulo and Bogotá and lists such corporations as Peugeot, Unilever, Toyota and 3M as clients.
“As Latin America becomes an increasingly important trade and investment hub, Datarisk’s services will be in high demand,” said Datarisk Founder and President Felix El Idd, in a statement. “Becoming a member of the Latin Trade Group will provide us with capital to expand and a platform to market our services.”
El Idd is to remain president of Datarisk and commercial director Federico Bove will be promote to executive vice president. Isis’ Matthew Lambert will join Datarisk’s board and become a managing director for Miami-based Latin Trade Group.
